Japan Trip !

so much to blog ! but always giving excuses to blog later.

i know i know ! haven been having much content in my blog lately well not because i don't have any, its just because I'm lazy :X

Have been going on trips as you can see from my previous posts, really enjoyed all of them despite some minor upsets and arguments during the trips but all was fine and easily forgotten with a smile :) well we are out to have fun anyway right ? haha..

alright lets talk about my japan trip since everyone have been asking how was it.
There's only one way to describe it I LOVE JAPAN AND I WANNA VISIT AGAIN SOON !!!
It's my first time being so far away from home without my parents *school trips excluded* and also my very first trip to Japan. Simple words to describe I REALLY MISS SINGAPORE , my PARENTS, my FRIENDS and my BED(I'm sure my bed misses me as much too)

First day in Japan, touched down on Tokyo Narita Airport at 2:00 pm local time (Sg: 3:00pm)
The air was fresh and cooling, the place was clean and neat very similar to what i had in mind.
took our Luggages and process onto finding our way to our hostel which was at Takashimadaira
the other end of Narita, it really took us some time just finding the location we need to go.

As a Singapore for like 19 plus years we wasn't used been used to such complicated subway lines for ours only had 3 lines.
let me guide you through how to get to Takashimadaira, First buy a ticket from Narita to Nippori then get a ticket to Ueno then alight and take JR line to Sugamo from then take the Mita line to Takashimadaira as easy as it sounds it works in a total opposite way. First we wasn't used to their language and so are they, using English to communicate was out needless to say using Chinese was not a workable option to, haha so we ended up using simple English and hand signs rather funny but it did work !! see people see the power of sign language !
Reached our hostel and unpacked our stuff for the day as it was already nearing 6:00 *which for your information was already night time* the official sunset time for Japan is 5:50p.m unlike Singapore which is 6.30p.m .

Explored around our hostel and came to a conclusion that majority of the workers are much younger then Singapore ! and also pretty looking girls XD even in Macdonald. Had a supper in Mac, yes once again thanks to our sign language we got our meals ! the room we had wasn't very big but was 1 room per person something like an apartment with the living room and the kitchen all in one we each have a toilet in our room but the shower was a share one located just beside the kitchen. Ending the night with some Japanese TV shows and a day of schedule to finish for the next morning :)

Woke up early on the second day and saw Solomon talking to An Ang Mo which we later know him as Ryan 22 years old from America :D who came over because his wife was teaching English in Japan, he was a soldier back then ! cool !! and survive a bullet shot to his leg by a 9 year old kid in Afghanistan 0.0 wasn't kinda in our schedule XD hahaha as a polite Singaporean we asked him to tag along with us if he wanted to :)

Day 1 : Narita , Sugamo and Takashimadaira.

Day 2 : Shinjuku , Harajuku and Shibuya.

Day 3 : Ueno , Akihabara.

Day 4 : Shibuya *again for shopping.

Day 5 : Maihama * Tokyo Disneyland.

Day 6 : Harajuku *cosplay day and Roppongi.

Day 7: Narita Airport to Singapore :)

Tokyo Disneyland !! the dream place to be for all children for at least during my childhood *maybe children nowadays don't watch as much cartoon as we do thanks to computer and MAPLE STORY AKA wasting time * in my opinion.

Bad/good luck for us, we finished watching the Parade but started raining right after ! 0.0 we had to leave before the fireworks as we were tired and drenched :( and the temperature was dropping !! like to 6°C !

After Ryan left we got a new roommate name Guidon*if i spell it right* from Germany. he taught
us how to play this poker game called Texas Hold'em no limit.
We will be catching up soon when he's in our town like this coming june or july:)

Lastly a little details of Tokyo tower it was build during 1958 to symbolize its ascendancy as a global economic powerhouse and it's 332.6-meter-tall Despite being 8.6 meters taller than the Eiffel Tower (will be taller if the tower's TV antenna is included)
This Red giant was a beauty in our eyes ! you have to be there to get a hold of how huge and magnificence it is !

Soon it was time for home ! despite staying/living and always complaining about how bored and small was Singapore i was kinda looking forward going back ! weird !

But i'm going to miss the Special burger that Singapore would never have !

Back at the Airport we had our very last bowl of raman :( and saw this really ridiculous text on the immigration form ! direct translation !

Does that mean we are Alien ? hahaa ! sounds like an invasion for me XD

Leg Space for Economy class finally !! well we were really lucky to have the first row sits :) good bye Japan ! we will be missing you ! back to Singapore !
