As you can see i have gotten a new blog skin ! :) *after receiving much complains about my very "default blogskin" i have finally decided to change it into this ! ♥

Alright let me blog about what had happened in my life this past few days.

Been slacking and resting at home, or so to say :X hahaa.! *Secrets

Well finally met up with Gerard after so much of NDP rehearsals he had been involved with, he finally gotten time for us ! Went Gaming as usual @ Paradize center(pardon me if i got the name wrongly) But we didn't have a decent game because of the shitty mouse in the temporary "make do" lan shop because the usual shops we always visit was full !

Nevertheless it was a fun evening with them and we all Officially became 1 year soldiers on 27 july 2008! ahhh...reminiscing the good old days a year back, when we first enlisted ! memorable Tekong days !

Went over to SP (Singapore Polytechnic) yesterday for their Symphonic Band Concert. Personal opinion was that it's well delivered but some minor mistakes in between, slightly sleep inducing though. overall not too bad.

Met up with Pui tung at Northpoint on Monday, cause both of us wanted to get a hair cut.
But in the end he was the only one who got his hair cut, as for me nah... Since both my mum and her said that my hair wasn't that long so i will be only cutting it this weekend. well my initial thought was to stay on the safer side since I'm still serving army.

While we were having coffee at Starbucks, Pui Tung suddenly announce that he was in an relationship ! which totally caught me off guard, and that it has already been a week since they officially started dating.! And i was kept in the dark (HOW DARE HIM)! hahaha. But nevertheless I felt really happy for him : )
AS this is his FIRST ever relationship in his entire 19 years ! hehehehe. "sweet revenge" that's for keeping me in the dark :P
Throughout the conversation, we were talking about each other life (e.g. r/s , monetary issues, studies and current technology) pretty much one short yet sweet catching up session.
bought this CD from SMC (Sembawang Music Center) as they were having moving out sales.
A mixed collection of love songs, but not all are actually that nice. The song that attracts me to actually buy it was "Superwoman by Karyn White"
truly smoothing to the ears.

Blissful Weekend

What I'm about to blog is non-related to my first picture, just felt that it was quite nicely taken :) .*

"The Dark Knight"(★★★★) AKA "Batman" is only getting this rating from me because, it's Heath Ledger's last/final completed movie before the sudden death due to an accidental overdose of prescribed drugs earlier 28 January this year.
A little extra information of him, Heath became famous after the airing of "Brokeback Mountain"
It's true that his death became the main focus of this movie, it completely overshadowed the film. His acting skills in dark knight as Joker was truly remarkable, echoing a shy, ruthless psychopathic killer with a mastermind brain. Joker may be insane, but he's a shrewd judge of character.

"Why So Serious ?"

The story plot was a little draggy though, "too much" unnecessary scenes for the audience to get it's message "there's righteousnesses in every people/soul, regardless of good or bad"

The movie gadgets and cars was fantastic ! Spectacular chases on either the bat mobile and motorcycle"bad pod" but too bad for the Sliver Lamborghini Gallardo though, it was mashed on the side by an oncoming car during one scene. 1 million dollars ~

Let me conclude that this movie, Dark knight is beyond dark. To me, it's only worth 9 dollars (Original Price $10.50 *during weekends/after 5) of movie ticket I'm paying for. As for that remaining $1.50 you can actually "spend" them on basketball game in the arcade, adjusting yourself after the long 153 minutes film.

family is everything

Life is treating me pretty well ever since i settled down for a more stable life.

In terms of monetary management I'm certainly showing tremendous improvement, lesser unnecessary wants but more useful necessary items (needs).

I know to many guys it's quite like taking away freedom of spending from you , but to me at least I'm leading a more carefree stable life as compared to my previous self-proclaimed "carefree hectic life" which is brainless and unorganized spending spree which eventually always leads to two empty pocket at the end of the month.

Kinda like an uncle talk, i know :X I'm a changed person (in progress).

Although I'm still caught between childishness (immature) and sensible (mature) I'm learning each and everyday. it can be a little routine but that routine stableness and security makes your everyday 5.30 worth looking forward to.

so much so of my personal thoughts more about my recent life :)

it has been ages since i last meet up with my tekong buddies ! (guoce not included because he usually ask me out) went to watch "Hellboy II: The Golden Army" (★★) with Jun Qi(new HQ colleague) , Kristen and Guoce.

Pretty much just an "Action movie" with virtually no climax as compared to "Hellboy I" if you are interested please don't let my words affect you , because you might shade different lights on the same movie.

Pretty much sums up my life recently, simple yet contented *smile with tiny eyes*

With a little dose of surprises each day.

My Square Root Life ( 3 )

Finally went out with my beloved AA (Anti-Air, a stupid nickname which me and Vincent thought of for them) Alice & Angela !

Haven seen them for ages ! Despite playing severals games of Dota with Alice and irregular chats on the phone with Angela.

Went out to Cine Leisure again* hahaha.. to have out dinner cum movie session, was really laughing throughout the dinner because of Alice lame jokes :X hahahahaha !! you gotta to admit she's kinda irritating but in a good way ironically.

And for Angela, I totally agree with Alice ! she's quite slow when it comes to catching lame/cold jokes, always laughing after we stop laughing -wols-. overall the feeling of being out together was really great ^^

Watched "Red-Cliff" (★★★★) with them, throughly enjoyed the historical part of the three kingdom. As for the acting part was quite the normal ones you would expect from a "Hollywood movie standards" though it's an Asia production. Well it cost S$80 million to film it (what do you expect :P ) even though Lin Chi-ling sounded a little weird for the movie. A quote from Alice's blog ( i think she's disastrous. not because I'm jealous, but she actually uses wawa (dolly) voice to act in a traditional costume!(historical movie) aiya, you've have to watch it then you'll understand why i say so. i think she spoils the mood.) which i quite agree to her statement. no offense to Lin Chi-ling fans.
A good 4 stars for me :) because I'm into history.

oh ya .. and "It's a Boy Girl thing" ( ★★★*) was quite a good movie too ! though i haven watched "She's the man" before, i was told that the story plot was somewhat similar.
