Contented Simple Life

Over the week as you might know, i have been rather emotional due to several issues at work.
But things have been getting better : )
Like plan A

Currently stuck in the camp doing duty on a Sunday, wasn't as bad as i initially thought. Just bored and stuff,practically nothing much for today *yet.

Besides plan A, part of the contributor to delightful mood was movies !
Watched Death Race and WALL.E (Waste Allocation Load Lifter Earth-Class)
Although not i haven heard much about (Death race - ★★★*) but it turn out to be quite a pleasant show despite some gruesome scenes, the content was fantastic.

As for (WALL.E - ★★★★) it was truly delightfully remarkable ! The animation was brilliant ! and WALL.E was really adorable ! To be honest i was initially quite reluctant to catch it because I thought i have out-grown the age of Pixar animation, but thanks to her interests in WALL.E I could have almost missed out on such a wonder movie.

Though WALL.E doesn't have any facial features but it manage to capture our hearts, it was very touching and it will sure to be a HIT for the box office.
I highly recommend YOU to watch : )

New comer

Warning This post content a large amount of ranting and personal opinion. Please also note that this post will be a text base entry.

The entry i entered earlier today was only a half finished, to be exact I was paused/stopped by the sudden entrance of a new member in our office this morning. Ying Tang's understudy which we were constantly talking excitingly over the last past few months cause he's going to ORD in another 3 months to come.

Come to think about it, i have been in this office for near a year since. I still remember at the beginning my impression of him wasn't that great due to the fact that my upper study(senior) was bad mouthing him to me. But as  time goes by, little by little i started to know him better and as days goes by after my upper study left(ORD-ed) we became friends. He's a good colleague, a good friend to me though i have never reveal such personal thoughts i had towards him. I'm really Thankful to have such a good buddy at work ! :)

we share varies common interests like playing/watching basketball and also reading manga ! he even introduce book reading to me and solution to solving Rubik's cube.

At the same time i introduced movies , games guides and animes to him ! though not very much of a use but at least i brought some form of entertainments : ) hahaa.. oh ya almost missed out also teaching him some form of basic CSS too !

Ok back to his new understudy, little do i know about him. Elfi who just graduated from BMC (Basic Medic Course) came over to our office this morning without given prior notice from the Manpower branch, which sort of shock us a little was caught off guard utterly speechless to this sudden additional member which so happen to be the worst case scenario we have spoke about the past months. -This sentence has been censored due to certain violation of government laws regarding ethnicity -

Am i being prejudice ? why am i being so judgmental against them. Despite knowing that, yet i couldn't help being pessimistic about the current situation.

let's hope for the best.

What your sleeping position says about you ...

Foetus
Those who curl up in the foetus position are described as tough on the outside but sensitive at heart. They may be shy when they first meet somebody, but soon relax. The most common sleeping position.

Log
Lying on your side with both arms down by your side (looks very uncomfy) . These sleepers are easy going, social people who like being part of the in-crowd, and who are trusting of strangers. However, they may be gullible.

Yearner
Snoozers who sleep on their side with both arms out in front are said to have an open nature, but can be suspicious, cynical. They are slow to make up their minds, but once they have taken a decision, they are unlikely ever to change it.

Soldier
Lying on your back with both arms pinned to your sides. People who sleep in this position are generally quiet and reserved. They don't like a fuss, but set themselves and others high standards.

Freefall
Lying on your front with your hands around the pillow, and your head turned to one side. Often gregarious and brash people, but can be nervy and thin-skinned underneath, and don't like criticism, or extreme situations. Apparently, also not afraid of suffocating in their sleep.

Starfish
Dozing off while lying on your back with both arms up around the pillow. These sleepers make good friends because they are always ready to listen to others, and offer help when needed. They generally don't like to be the center of attention.

Personally fall into the Foetus w/bolster, Yearner w/bolster and Starfish position. Somewhat true but simply too general for me. Does your sleeping position tells your true personality.

Some health benefits from sleeping.

1. Improve Immune System.
2. Improve Memory - During sleep,things we have learnt are consolidated
3. Better Complexion.
4. Weight Loss.
5. Better Mood.
   

So do Sleep earlier and try sleeping on a fix timing because the most optimal sleeping time is between 9p.m-3.a.m

once again I was been forgotten. once more after a year.

I wasn't able to meet her as spoken on the phone.

It's seriously not good to be last to informed, what's worst is hearing it from others.

that's life, harsh reality we have to accept.

People outgrew their past, some unintentionally neglect old friends while others consistently putting in effort to held on tight and initiate to meet ups.

Though such unfortunate event happens, but what's more important is not to blame but to be contented of what you have now.

Cherish.

First hurdles

The past week, had certainly been a great week for me ! Met up with Pui tung, Qiu tin and my Tekong buddies ( Consisting of Wei jian, Si rong and Gerard. As for Guoce, he absent himself just because he wanted to play WOW AKA World of Warcraft -_- )

Had a very good time catching up with Qiu tin ! As crappy as usual, though there was an additional member to our topics which is "Work". Thanks again for the ice cream treat :)

Held that urge to buy for 2 weeks ! because i wanted to control my impulsiveness

Catching up with my tekong buddies wasn't that bad despite we abandon our initial plan to catch "Meet Dave" and had a lunch at Korean BBQ *yummy*
Officially 1 year plus soldiers now, all are quite settled in their respective vocation now. pretty much waiting for the day we ORD.

Met up with Pui tung to assist him with his 1st month present ! goodness it was really troublesome!we even walked from douby gout to Bugis and back to Douby again! it's always a consistent headaches for us guys having to pick up presents regardless birthday or certain "special" occasions but after so much of walking done, it was nevertheless a fruitful trip. One of the best outing i had that week (don't ask me why it's only one of the best; well all i can reveal is that the first Aston's dinner tops the chart too =] ) , very much our usual guys talk about our life in general ; Education, Work, Relationship, our Parents ! and also NS , all i have for you Pui tung is that you enjoy while you still have the chance before entering army :X hahahahaha ! by then i would have already ORDed or soon to be.
MUAHAHAHAHA.!
Had dinner at Aston Specialist at The Cathay level 4, the food was relatively good we had 2 cream of mushroom and 2 of their specialty chicken chop with 2 sides dishes each. And what was even better were the pricing, our total bill barely even hit 20 bucks with no addition service charges ;and it absolutely gave us an extra push towards tipping for their services, while not being "forced" to pay every time we visit an eatery ! Was my second visit to that restaurant. Totally WORTH ! do very much give it a try.
I'm sure i will soon too :)

This hurdle shall not obstruct us , we'll cross it together. I'm very well aware of the current situation, and am certainly sure that time will be our best weapon against it. ♥ -cheers :)

nightmares and dreams

Had multiple dreams yesterday night, ranging from nightmares to army dreams.

Alright let me recall, I dreamt of myself sleeping in my room alone as usual. it was only when i felt a very disturbing aura lurking at the corner of my room. There it was when i opened my eyes, a little girl dressed in pale white long dress. Her face was stained with dried blood (don't ask me why blood instead of dirt, use your common sense it's a nightmare !:X), eyes were bloodshot red as if her eyes had been suffering from tremendous pain and thats all i could see of her.
I tried to move myself with very ounce of strength but with no avail, i wasn't even able shift myself.
And worst ! She was inching forward to me, trembling with fear from the uncertainly of what she might do. I woke up ! Thanks goodness i thought its over, but the nightmare looped itself as if i was in a badly damaged film. worst Déjà vu ever.
The final time i woke up for real ! I was already covered with cold sweat. *not that I'm a timid person :P but who won't be frighten during those nightmares.

And as for the army dream it was rather normal, totally forgotten most of it expect for that i wanted to blog about it because she was involved in that dream :)

Seem like I've been easily affected indirectly. it's a positive or negative thing? guess it's a mixture of both :P

Nope, not dead

it's Monday again, not just another Monday though.
Its the starting day for her school today, although I'm not the one having lessons later yet i still feel the anxiety. The feeling of her being in a new environment, new lecturers, new course, lessons with new friends(yet) and adjusting/adapting to the new level of education are just part of my worries. But I'm sure she will do just fine : ) that i can least have a peace of mind.

I'm sure it's not just me that notice a different in myself. For examples, spending lesser time online, playing lesser games and obviously blogging lesser. hahaa.
Those changes in me, are very new to me too. The growth in maturity, sensibility and filial to my parents ( not saying that i wasn't then, just a little notorious as compared :P).

Those positive changes resulting me having better monetary management, sleeping early and most importantly feeling ever more 3s (please don't ask me what 3 is , I will leave it to your own interpretation)

Let me recall which new movies i have watched this couple of weeks. hmm, "The Mummy: Tomb of The Dragon Emperor ★★★" and "Love Guru ★★★*" both are very average Hollywood movies which still is worthy of your dollars. Personally i prefer Love Guru™ over Mummy, It's so much more enjoyable to laugh out loud in the cinema and let out the foul gases(not referring to farts :X hahahaha !) which you accumulated over the weekdays.
Serious recommendation for "Love Guru" though the rating ain't high cause i rate accordingly to how my friends would feel for the movies.

Virtual Love

Hello ! I'm back once again, will be writing something on "Virtual Love" in this post.

My definition of virtual love is, two person coming from two totally different walks of ways or similar, connected with each other hence falling in love through "cyberspace" via text/voice/web caming.

You might wonder how can two person fall in love through cyberspace just by chatting and a few pictures without even meeting up ? it's simply not possible !
No, it's possible and i have an example to prove. I have got a friend whom i got to know from Facebook, let's give her a name T.
T have been playing this particular application in facebook called "owned" a very simple trading game which involves users uploading their self-portrait so that others can bid and rise the price of their personal photos vice versa. Although it's very simple yet it's as interactive as Msn, alright so much of promoting. One fine day as usual T was surfing through the application looking for someone nice enough to own, and that very day she so happen to stumbler upon this charming guy's profile, who's name is P.
After several exchange of comments they shifted their conversation to personal messages and even further to Msn and web cam etc etc. And very soon after both were madly in love with each other through cyberspace. very unrealistic ? Ya ! that was the exact same reaction I've gotten upon hearing that she was "attached" virtually to P.
And i mumbled to myself "they ain't gonna last long, i' pretty sure about that." sure there were severals arguments and occasional quarrels through Msn/Messages regarding minor/major matters, but still they were always able to put down their pride and come to an agreement/solution which both would conclude that all those arguing was just minor disagreements.
Up till today this very moment they are still happily together *though they have yet to meet up :)
P.s. T lives in Singapore while P lives in Germany
Who says Virtual love is unrealistic ? Think again :P

Anyway a slight update on my life,

Dislocated My right arm again ! goodness, worst of all was that under that* kind of situation where my girl friend was just beside me ! What were you thinking, "that" referring to me lifting something :P haha.
Definitely one of my most awkward moments till current life. In pain i was, yet i didn't wanted her to watch uselessly by my side cause it was quite a nasty situation for her to be in. having her watching me by the side, as much as she wanted to make me feel more comfortable but all she could do was being there with me. on the other hand thinking if I would want her to see me in such state of pain.
well but lucky me, i manage to pop back my dislocated arm and phew ! a trip to the hospital was saved ! not to mention the very long waiting time and the unwanted worries from my love ones.
It surely wasn't the one of those optimum moments where your partner gets to know more about you! but guess it did created quite a good opportunity/moment for us to bond. =/ hahaa.. nevertheless this episode did brought us closer.

What a Sunday !

Today marks a very special day for me :)
Though we don't exactly have an official date, but this date is a special date for me as it onces marks the date of your return from your long vacation.
