Just some update on coming Cosplay event - 6 July there will be an Cosplay event at downtown east. estimated 5 times bigger or even 10 times bigger ! then the one i attended last sunday.

because if you were to expand Square root 3 *SR3 it will show you 1.7321 - just guessing no real mathematic calculation done.

but if you were to add another SR3 into it, and expand them out you will get an integer !

integer as i interpret into as "A Whole" without decimal place.

Please correct me if my interpretation fails me.

Updates + photos

I think this photo is NICE :) not because you can't really see my face but what matter is the photographer !

Accidentally spilled my tube of lays(BBQ) into my bag as i was taking it out ! here a look at the mess !
not to worry my Ipod is fine after a wet tissue bath*

took out the vacuum and the mess was gone in no time; despite smelling like (BBQ) lays for a day or so.

if I'm not wrong the purple colored hair girl is from Naurto ; not too sure about the uniform girl but just look at all the effort placed into doing this.

The white part is (peach flavour) ice cream, while the seed is actually chocolate

Alright some updates on my well-being:

This 3 days starting from Friday was a very precious/wonderful day, got to hang out with my bestie and *J let me briefly describe my weekend experience.


(Thursday- did duty in the camp that night *merely slept a few hours and work through Friday ! but luckily we were granted 2 hours + 30mins off in addition to family day(30 mins), so i left the office around 2.30) took a quick shower and a power nag before heading out for dinner at parkmall Fish and Co.
Overall experience that night was just great. Right ambiance, live acoustic band singing *romantic love songs and some 80s pop. Though the food was slightly off the standards but everything was just about right.
Truly enjoyed the company that night though its our first outing.

Saturday, woke up and the first thing in my mind was ___. felt the slightest sweetness and contentment waking up having ___ to think of.
Had a simply breakfast and went out with my tekong buddies and Kristen for our weekly dose of gaming *dota.
Total OWNAGE by our team, though was good game we still manage to tease Guoce throughout the game ! oh ya.. not forgetting out nick that day.

Rubbish Guo Ce :) *just harmless fun

Left the group earlier so to head down to fix a faulty PC at ___ house. Nervousness was written all over me *perspiration and fidgeting throughout.
It's time meeting final judgment though it much sounds exaggrating but that was what i felt.
had a simple dinner because diagnosing the CPU, motherboard failure due to aging hardware *which is common for computer that are over 5 years old, as dust are trapped inside the CPU causing metal filings to rust.
dinner was simple yet homely :) delicious veg ! i must say, gotten ask my mum to learn that recipe.
brought back the CPU so that i can do further testing.
final diagnostic results = motherboard failure, which happened to be the worst case scenario as older hardwares are not compatible with the latest motherboard equivalent to changing a new CPU.

Sunday, out with my bestie and ___ so that they both can get to know which other better.
Overall the cosplay event at suntec wasn't what we expected it to be due to the size of the event which was rather small. The numbers of cosplayer attended wasn't a lot, but nevertheless local cosplayers are putting in so much more effect and funds into their passion as compared to 4 years back *which cosplay fever started to invade local.
After which we have lunch, we parted with Melissa and headed down to Sim Lim Square to buy a new CPU. Did some bargain with the shop assistant and got ourself a better and satisfying price ^^, also gotten myself a new set of speakers !* altec lansing ~ and a PCI wireless adapter for my PC *due to my spoiled laptop i have to make do with my desktop :(
Went over again, but this time the feeling was less tense and more natural.
Run some installation CDs and checks and the computer was up and running !
Went home and ended my day :)

p.s. as i get to know you more, i get to know myself.

Laptop Down

My Laptop is DOWN :(
It was working perfectly yesterday only after pui tung came and i wanted to show him a faulty application "Warcraft 3 AKA Dota" which triggered a hang time the day before so the same time was done and that was the last time i saw my working laptop !

Diagnosed result *by tung and I = either Harddisk failure or faulty Graphic Card :( *neither failure i would still have to send it for repair. because i can't even enter BIOS to configure ! arghhh

But the good news is i have backup all my photos that day before, because my instinct told me something wasn't right.

Hence, now i have to find a free day( during working hour) so to head down to HP support center to send my laptop for repair.

Also thinking of getting a new laptop should i get MacBook or just a Window laptop ? any ideas ?

For the time being, i shall be using my desktop and also with someone's help. It shall be more then enough to distracted from my spoiled laptop :)

Went to Dempsey Hill, with my family today for dinner. But we arrived earlier then expected all the restaurant wasn't serving their main course because it's was around 4 that we reached the place.

Initially we wanted to dine in Long Beach but they are not open till 5.30 "which is dinner hour".

So we decided to seek for alternative and went to DOME for pasta :)

love the atmosphere @ Dempsey really comfortable and cozy and there's like really lots of good restaurants there and Ben and Jerry's was there too !

The place is not easily accessible that's why it's unique ~

Anyway recently i have been rather busy with my life and work. have been balancing and one thing for sure i know is that i have been having dreams quite a lot lately which is RARE for me.

I seldom have dream, least say dreamS. i guess i only have one to blame :P hahaha! but in a good way.

OH ya have to update this ! After so long, i finally bought a CD ! Marie Digby ~

along with some other stuff i got that day :)

and "Chocolate AKA Female version of Ong Bak" wasn't too bad well overall i rate it 2.5 stars for it's fighting scenes.

That's all i guess I'm too lazy for blogging :(

Basic Theory I Have Conquered You !

I have conquered Basic Theory Test ~

hoho ! I went to face the test with only a day of studying :)

Was super nervous when i was in the room doing the test, as i was little prepared for the test. Fortunately everything went well, and the question was rather idiot proof .

SO good news ! no worries for people who taking basic theory test (BTT)

And Happy Mother's Day to all mothers. Thanks mummy :) you have taken care of us for the past 20 odd years. And thanks for always being there regardless of everything

Saw this drawings of my cute little sister,when i was mugging before the test using her foolscap.  Was drawn when her one of turtles was sick. *she's an extreme animal lover.

And one last thing I finally went out with Wen zhuang ! it's been like 7 months since we last met ? haha.. it's still fun hanging out with you :) and  "What Happen in Vegas" was amazingly funny ! i totally wouldn't mind watching it again.

An IT Geek Question

Dear Tech Support:

 

Last year I upgraded from Girlfriend 7.0 to Wife 1.0. I soon noticed that the new program began 

unexpected child processing that took up a lot of space and valuable resources. 

 

In addition, Wife 1.0 installed itself into all other programs and now monitors all other system activity. 

Applications such as Poker Night 10.3 , Football 5.0 , Hunting and Fishing 7.5 , and Racing 3.6.

 

I can't seem to keep Wife 1.0 in the background while attempting to run my favorite applications. 

I'm thinking about going back to Girlfriend 7.0 , but the uninstall doesn't work on Wife 1.0 . Please help!

Dear Troubled User:

 

This is a very common problem that men complain about. 

 

Many people upgrade from Girlfriend 7.0 to Wife 1.0, thinking that it is just a Utilities and Entertainment 

program. Wife 1.0 is an OPERATING SYSTEM and is designed by its Creator to run EVERYTHING !!! It is 

also impossible to delete Wife 1.0 and to return to Girlfriend 7.0 . It is impossible to uninstall, or purge the 

program files from the system once installed.

 

You cannot go back to Girlfriend 7.0 because Wife 1.0 is designed to not allow this. Look in your Wife 1.0 

manual under Warnings-Alimony/Child Support . I recommend that you keep Wife 1.0 and work on improving 

the situation. I suggest installing the background application "Yes Dear" to alleviate software augmentation. 

 

The best course of action is to enter the command C:\APOLOGIZE! because ultimately you will have to give 

the APOLOGIZE command before the system will return to normal anyway.

 

Wife 1.0 is a great program, but it tends to be very high maintenance. Wife 1.0 comes with several support 

programs, such as Clean and Sweep 3.0 , Cook It 1.5 ! and Do Bills 4.2.

 

However, be very careful how you use these programs. Improper use will cause the system to launch the program 

Nag Nag 9.5. Once this happens, the only way to improve the performance of Wife 1.0 is to purchase additional 

software. I recommend Flowers 2.1 and Diamonds 5.0!

 

WARNING!!! DO NOT, under any circumstances, install Secretary With Short Skirt 3.3. This application is not 

supported by Wife 1.0 and will cause irreversible damage to the operating system!

i have been staying at home under strict diet this past 3 days due to my stomach/digestion system problem which was diagnosed by the doctor and was place under observation to ensure that I was ok and cleared for green light of any serious illness. * And about the popcorn , i didn't even tasted one ! and not even the ice cream cake my sister bought for my mum's birthday.

I'm not trying to make life difficult by trying to not come for work, nor get into any unnecessary problem just because I'm CONCERN about my health status !

If medical certificate can't prove to you that I'm not well and that I'm resting at home, what els can i provide ? maybe the doctor direct contact number ? a letter from the doctor ? or were you wishing that i was IN some serious illness *I hope not* ?

Lastly , I feel that i have the very rights to maintain my health status :P *just saying the fact.

To all those whom are concern about my situation, I'm feeling fine and will be seeing my doctor after i finishing posting this. *fingers cross* that it might be any serious cases.

Life at home - ON MC

I'm on MC from "stomach flu" or so to said the diagnose wasn't very much clear, an appointment for a follow up was given and 3 days mc. And if all els failed to stop my diarrhea then i would have to visit a general hospital for a scan :( *fingers cross.

extra note: If you are reading this, really wish to express my apologies for not being able to turn up for work and that you have to cover my part while I'm no mc. When I'm back do let me handle most of the stuff *guilty* .

Before i was diagnosed i bought all those ! now i can't touch them, not until I'm certified Healthy :( take care Ruffles and dear Lays !

Life Isn't a Bed of Roses

Dear invisible,

Life isn't a bed of roses, this sentence have long been experienced, and proven over time that yes indeed it is not. We all know this very well, life doesn't always goes your way even without saying but what we choose to select is up to us.

The fact that life isn't always smooth already add up to our burden/additional stress level, yet I'm consistently being reminded that it isn't, when i already have this concept imprint in my mind.

Isn't friends and family here to make your life a little smoother ?

Serving you as that utopia you always wished for ?

Bringing you closer to your "bed of rose" that you know which is impossible to have ?

BUT NO ! i was smacked right in the face with those words " LIFE ISN'T A BED OF ROSES, TERRENCE LIM DO YOU UNDERSTAND ?"

Putting our friendship on the line for much meaningless risk ?*personal opinion.

Seriously am i such a naive person you known since the start ?

despite the fact that i very much wanted to secure this special bond we shared , and the effort to always cajole you guys for an outing but with such ease rejection i was given ?

Disappointment developed into a form of numbness finally to a form of silence, not one moment have i not prayed/wished for the situation to grow better.

what i have wrote here is my heart felt words. *have already wrote you a letter but yet have the courage to sent, please understand how i feel and not what you presume.

Recently, my dad have been getting more and more unreasonable. The fact that we are not having enough time together already make us lost that strong special bond we once had.

Not saying that we don't love you no more , just that you are making our life difficult.

I know you are working hard to support the family and have always been proud of you :) *not facing any finical crisis or anything*

But your recently actions and stuff you said, really makes our family members feel down and moody not just temporally effects but it really impacted us as a whole.

I know work is stressed for you, and that i have been helping out quite a lot lately too.

But you can't just say those irresponsible stuff you said to us, no matter what we are still a family !

communications is important, what ever you are facing in difficulty do let us know ! For we will be together through Thick and Thin !
